Following a successful but short nursing career and a 2 year move to Madrid, Sue entered the forwarding sector in 1987 after the birth of her eldest daughter, and has 26 years of experience in this field.
In 1999 Sue and her husband Rod started their own freight forwarding business and after 12 successful years sold it to a major international forwarding organisation.
Sue came out of a short retirement in 2012 to cover for Jemma on maternity leave in Twente’s signature Benelux export department and has been a permanent fixture ever since.
Sue is married to long suffering blue nose Rod and her time outside of the work place is spent with their 4 children and two fluffy white (most of the time) Westies which complete the family.
Having completed several cake decorating courses, she provides the family celebration cakes and also makes ballroom dresses for her eldest daughter Morgan – who is a professional dancer.
When not supporting Morgan at a dance competition somewhere in the world, Sue is often on the south coast visiting her youngest daughter Bailey at the University of Sussex in Brighton.
